New Life Christian Community is committed to training, equipping and empowering the community to be disciples of Christ. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word; accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives! There is one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is loving and completely Holy. Unfortunately because of sin, each of us are separated from God and His purpose for our lives. However, the good news is that God loved us so dearly that He sent Jesus Christ His Son to reconcile us back to God! Today, we are able to receive forgiveness of sins when we repent of our sins, place our faith in Jesus Christ and submit to His will for our lives. We invite you to grow with us at NLCC, where everyday people can meet God, build great relationships and learn how to flourish in life through the Ladder of Success!

Brief History of NLCC

• NLCC began as a church plant of the Austral-Asian Christian Church to the eastern suburbs of Adelaide in 2000.
• The Austral-Asian Christian Church was established in 1976 and came under the regular ministry of Pastors Geoff Bingham, Vic Fitzner, Ian Simpson and Barry Chant.
• The church grew progressively and divided into 4 congregations in 4 different campuses, of which NLCC was one. For a number of reasons, including diversity of language and ministry goals, each congregation went its separate ways about three years ago.
• NLCC continues to be an evangelical church that believes that all of Scripture is God-breathed. It has a predominantly Asian congregation, and has worship services in both English & English-Chinese.
• It has just moved recently to the current new facility at Klemzig to accommodate the ministry needs of a growing multi-generational congregation.

Values, Vision & Mission of NLCC

• We see the church of Christ as a community of people sharing life through a common faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and God.
• In sharing this life in Jesus as we aim to grow spiritually, know God intimately and live victoriously.
• We are to be a church that raises up disciples of Jesus Christ who will fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples for Christ.
• This is in anticipation of God’s vision that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
• Towards these goals, we set an emphasis on the congregation being in relational fellowship groups, and as well, to participate in the systematic equipping program that is run throughout the year as part of the discipleship process.

Pastor Chris Liew and Pastor Catherine Liew are our senior pastors. They are assisted by a group of dedicated deacons, elders and cell group leaders.

Fellowship Meal

NLCC believes that Christian fellowship is a primary goal of the local church. This is facilitated by a simple and affordable hot meal ($5) in the Refectory (Activity Hall) after each Sunday worship service.

1st time visitors are our guests. Simply present the coupon found in the ‘Welcome Pack’ given out upon arrival. We would love to get to know you and share fellowship with you over a meal!

Prayer & Healing Meetings

• 1st Wednesday of the month 8:00pm. [English-Mandarin]

All are welcome to join in to our call to our heavenly Father for his mercy and grace. Come to be blessed as well as to be a blessing. Come expecting a miracle from God Almighty!

Parenting Room

During the worship services on Sunday, the parenting room is available to parents with babies for them to participate in worship service whilst attending to the need of the child.
