“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.” Colossians 3:15

Soon the colours of autumn will come upon us, and for many, 2020 will truly be in full swing. A new road lies ahead, a future for growth and change. And as we face the challenges of life, let us hold onto this verse of Scripture and allow the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts, and so face life with confidence knowing that God is on our side.

While we would like smooth sailing plains, the road ahead may well bring us moun-tains and valleys. But with Christ the Prince of Peace in us, why should we be afraid? As we move ahead, let us look up and let Him be our guide. As we plough through the toil of daily living, may His joy be our strength. As we battle against the enemy and his evil forces, let us come together and be God’s hedge of love and protection around one another.

May we, as the Body of Christ, be adorned with the holiness of God so that the light of His presence shines His peace into all of us. Let us all come under the rule of the Prince of peace!
