“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14

We are in the middle of winter, and yet the plants along the fence look so vibrant and green. And the beautiful flowers add a cheery greeting to as we come into church. May this place regularly remind us of the divine goodness and grace of our God. And that He entrusts us with such a wonderful asset. May we respond to God’s faith in us by using this asset maximally to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God our Father.

Let us, together as one family and one body, press on towards the call of God upon our lives! Let us open our hearts to the flow of God’s love, so that in all we do we are moved by the power of that love! May others see flowing out of us streams of living waters as we become God’s channels of blessings to the people around us.

NLCC, let us seek first the Kingdom and press towards heaven faithfully and fruit-fully towards the crown of eternal life!
