“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favour rests.” Luke 2:14

Once again we come to that part of the year when young and old are excited about and look forward to. And rightly so. The year is coming to a close, and the hope of a bright and happy new year. And as well, there are holidays and entertainments. And for all of us who confess Christ as Saviour and Lord a blessed time to remember our Lord, celebrate our Lord and re-new our efforts to be good witnesses of our Lord. It is indeed the season where we seek to glorify our God by bringing His Good News of peace to the people around us.

The way we celebrate is an expression of the sincerity of our desire to con-secrate ourselves to our Lord. In addition to the Church Picnic, there will be the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations, followed by the Prayer Watch on New Year’s Eve. This is quickly followed by the Korean K-Pop Evangelistic Outreach and then a few weeks later, our Lunar New Year Out-reach. It will be a busy season but let it also be a joyous season as we come together as the Family of Christ to celebrate the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us fully have Christ in our hearts as we have His praises on our lips.
