Our God has promised to look with favour upon us in 2019. This is the theme for NLCC for this year. May we believe that this is God’s assurance for us, that He will look with favour upon us. By faith in Christ, may we all get to enjoy the favour of the Lord.

In the Scripture verse, God has promised that He will bless the righteous. How can we be right with God? Simply daily putting our faith in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. He promises us His favour. Under the shadow of God’s favour, we are safe and secure. There is no need to fear about anything, neither lack nor threat! For God’s favour surrounds us like a shield!

Such is what God’s favour looks like. May we boldly live 2019 for the glory of God, finding favour with God and with the people with whom we live. In the year of the Lord’s Favour, may you and your family have a safe and successful year! Amen.
