“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.” Psalm 95:1

Praise the Lord!! What a great Easter celebrations we had, our first ever at OG Road. May all the glory and thanksgiving be to our Lord and our God. And our heartfelt gratitude and thanks too, to the many brothers and sisters in the NLCC family who so loved the Lord that they laboured long and hard, and with some over many weeks, to help contribute towards its success. By the grace of God we were able to come together to be the Body that shows His light!

Our celebrations were anchored upon our faith in the Risen Christ. Our celebrations declared that He is the Rock of our salvation, our firm foundation that cannot be shaken. So though the chill of winter may soon come upon us, and the rain in the streets, may the warmth of His love and the sunshine of His light draw us even nearer together as God’s family, as we continue to sing and shout and praise His name!

The psalmist calls us to declare our faith and express our worship loudly and boldly. May we be seen as that community of faith that joyfully celebrates and delights in the Lord our God, the Lord Jesus Christ! Let us sing for joy and shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation!

May this be the daily habit of your life and let it rise to a climax each week when we come together as God’s family each Sunday.
